Apparently, my package was damaged in the mail.
What was left of it had been put into a plastic baggie with an apology from USPS on it.
I know that a lot of shadows are measured out by weight not volume, but even that doesn't account for this jar having less than half the product of the others.
Right now I am really unimpressed with either USPS or Madison Street Beauty or both. I'm not really sure. I have sent a message to the owner to let her know about my issues and am waiting for a response. I'm too upset to even swatch the things I got right now. I will do a full review of this company once this has (or hasn't) been resolved. Here is a quick picture of what I did receive anyways:
I did not order that pink shade at all.
I will update this as soon as I can! I got another holiday order in the mail today and will have an unboxing for that tomorrow, so look forward to that! That should more than make up for this debacle!
Aw! I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you get some sort of compensation and your full order. Getting broken makeup sucks.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I've already actually already had a reply from the owner and it sounds like she will be sending me the missing items. She was really nice about everything, I will have a full update tomorrow.
DeleteIts sad that you had such a bad experience. You should complain to Madison Street Beauty.

Thanks I checked out your blog!
DeleteOh I dread those "We Care" baggies and stickers. Not good. Glad the owner of MSB responded to you right away though.
ReplyDeleteI hope I never see one of those bags ever again! And she was extremely nice about it. She is sending me replacements of the 3 colours I didn't get!
