Quick Look: Smoky Eyes, Blue Lips

Today I really wanted to try out my new Impulse Cosmetics Lipstick in Smoking Gun. I wanted to do a fairly neutral eye so that the lips would stand out the most, but of course I got a bit carried away. It is still plain as far as colours go, but it ended up pretty dramatic anyways.

To do this look I used the BH Cosmetics 120 palette 4th edition and my new Impulse Cosmetics eyeshadow in Oil Slick. First I primed my eye and then used Impulse Cosmetics Glam Glue eye base, which I am so far impressed with. I used a light champagne colour on the inner corner of the lids and a medium brown colour on the outer corner. I then used oil slick in the crease. I blended it out with a fluffy blending brush and pulled it inwards. I used a light matte beige shade in the brow bone and to further blend out the oil slick. I lined my bottom lashline with oil slick on the outer 2/3 and the light champagne on the inner 1/3. I used a frosty white colour in my inner corner. I lined my bottom lashline and tightlined with Sigma's eyeliner in Boost. I did not line my upper lashline, I just applied 2 coats of NYX Doll Eye waterproof mascara.

To complete the look I used the lightest matte shade in my BH Cosmetics Glamorous Blush palette and used Impulse Cosmetics lipstick in Smoking Gun. Seriously, how amazing is that colour?!? I cannot stop staring at it! It is the most perfect navy blue ever. I was deciding between a navy blue and a brighter blue and I'm glad I picked this. I will still be getting the bright blue eventually. I am wearing it over a chapstick because it is a bit dry, but the colour is so perfect!
